Hemoglobin and Hematocrit
Hemoglobin (oxygen carrying protein) and Hematocrit (percentage of blood volume that is red blood cells) is often measured to track adaptation to heat- or altitude training.
Use this meter to track your baseline Hb/Hct values and to track your progress after heat- or altitude interventions.
Lactate from the StatStrip
The preferred device for lactate is still the Lactate Plus, simply due to the price of the lactate test strips.
Please be aware that this device does not work with the lactate plus test strips.
