The gold standard for laboratory cycling
The SRM ErgoMeter is designed for laboratories, universities, performance centres and professional cycling. In short, for any situation requiring accurate and repeatable power measurement.
Each ErgoMeter is tested, calibrated and certified with data accuracy of less than 0.5% error. The robust design and stable base allows for highly-accurate measurements and years of reliable, consistent use.
Its integrated SRM PowerMeter measures power directly at the crank, while the electronically controlled braking system has a range of 20-4200W. This supports aerobic testing, maximal sprint testing and freely programmable performance protocols for both Hyperbolic (fixed cadence) mode and Isokinetic (fixed resistance) mode.
DU KAN AUKA can assist with system configuration, laboratory integration, installation, testing protocols and user training.

Incremental testing
Create step tests and ramp protocols for VO₂max, lactate profiling, threshold determination and general performance diagnostics.
Constant-power testing
Maintain a programmed power output independently of the rider’s chosen cadence using hyperbolic control.
Isokinetic testing
Keep cadence constant while the athlete determines the produced power. This is particularly useful for maximal power and sprint testing.
Torque analysis
Evaluate torque throughout the pedal revolution, including left–right differences and changes associated with cadence, position or equipment.
Bike fitting and biomechanics
Reproduce individual bicycle positions and evaluate the effect of saddle, handlebar, crank-length and cadence adjustments.
CPET and metabolic testing
Combine the ErgoMeter with compatible metabolic carts and ECG systems for integrated cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
Training and rehabilitation
Create repeatable workloads, intervals and controlled-cadence sessions for supervised training and research.
SRM ErgoMeter specifications
Specifications and included components can vary by model year and selected configuration. Final specifications should be confirmed in the individual offer.
Options and additional services
