How it works
MOXY´s light-emitting diodes and photodetectors use near-infrared wavelength to measure Muscle Oxygen concentration, which gives you real-time physiologic feedback on your smartwatch, smartphone, or computer.
The optical sensors measures Muscle oxygen saturation (SmO2), which is the balance between oxygen delivery and oxygen consumption in the muscles. In other words, how well the muscle utilizes available Oxygen.
MOXY is the sensor that gives us the quickest feedback about O2 kinetics non-invasively, and thus valuable intelligence about immediate physiological stress. SmO2 combined with mechanical stress provides insight in almost every aspect of training.
Features
It is a comfortable sensor that should be fastened with the optical sensors above the center of the muscle in focus. To keep it fixed in place, we recommend using light adhesive attachments.
MOXY is compatible with Garmin and Wahoo. It is also compatible with most Metabolic Analysers including the VO2 Master. Read more about compatibility here.
